Postpartum Counselling for New Mothers.

Becoming a mother is one of the most profound transitions in life.

It can be filled with beauty, love, and awe — but it can also bring exhaustion, grief, overwhelm, and a deep sense of identity shift. Whether this is your first baby or one of many, no two journeys into motherhood are the same.

As a psychotherapist and a mother myself, I offer a unique and empathetic space to support you through this delicate and often complex time. I understand firsthand how becoming a parent can bring immense joy — and also loneliness, emotional upheaval, and a sense of being unrecognisable to yourself. You may be grieving the version of you from before motherhood, navigating changing relationships, or struggling with the expectations placed on new mums. You may have had a terrible pregnancy, traumatic birth and just need a space to talk about these things, free of judgement

In our work together, I’ll walk alongside you — never judging, always listening — to help you process and integrate your experience. We might talk about identity, relationships, sleep deprivation, body image, intrusive thoughts, emotional triggers, or simply how to make space for yourself again.

You don’t need a formal diagnosis or a breaking point to seek support. If you're feeling flat, disconnected, anxious, overwhelmed or unsure, that is reason enough. You are not alone, and you deserve care too.
