Hi, I’m Indiana.

A counsellor who holds space for the parts of you you’ve learned to quiet.

I’m a registered counsellor and psychotherapist based in Melbourne, offering warm, grounded support for anxiety, identity, perinatal experiences, and relationship patterns.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply human — centred on who you are, what you’ve lived, and what you’re longing for next.

Why I’m Here

Most people arrive in therapy knowing something needs to shift — even if they can’t name it yet.

Maybe you’re overwhelmed, exhausted by your own thoughts, or stuck in patterns that feel familiar but painful.
Maybe you’re going through a big life transition, becoming a parent, grieving a version of yourself, or questioning things you’ve always accepted.

I do this work because I believe you deserve a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.
A space where nothing is “too much”, where your feelings make sense, and where you are met with warmth, steadiness, and real presence.

I am a space for you to land be yourself, process what is asking to be heard or seen and become the version of yourself you want to be.

How I Work

People come to me when they’re navigating:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • Relationship and attachment patterns

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Pregnancy and postpartum changes

  • Identity shifts

  • Burnout and stress

  • Low self-worth or self-doubt

  • Feeling “stuck” or disconnected

  • Grief

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.
You just need to be curious about yourself, or ready for something to feel different.

My Background

Clients often tell me they feel:

  • calmer as soon as they walk in

  • seen without having to over-explain

  • safe enough to be honest

  • relieved to not feel judged

  • understood by me and themselves in a way they’ve struggled to articulate

  • Got an aspect of themselves that has often felt hard to make contact with, incomprehensible and caused them pain

Our sessions are relaxed, conversational, and emotionally spacious.
You don’t need to prepare or “be on”.
Just bring yourself — even if that self feels messy, tired, anxious, or unsure.

That is enough.

A Little About Me

My therapy style is gentle but grounded.
I don’t lecture, analyse from a distance, or push you somewhere you’re not ready to go.

Instead, we slow down enough to notice:

  • what your body is holding

  • what your mind is protecting you from

  • what patterns are looping

  • what emotions need space

  • what you’re learning to trust in yourself

My approach uses incorporates several therapeutic modalities so I can integrate:

  • Relational psychotherapy — the healing happens between us

  • Somatic awareness — paying attention to what your body is telling us

  • Attachment theory — understanding your patterns in relationships

  • Emotion-focused work — connecting with what’s actually happening inside

But most importantly:
Our work is tailored to you — your pace, your story, your nervous system.

Who I Support

I am an accreddited Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I’m trained in evidence-informed therapies and grounded in trauma-aware, person-centred practice.
Before counselling, I worked in communication and client-facing roles — experience that has shaped the way I listen, connect, and hold space with care.

I’m a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) , and I follow strict ethical guidelines for confidentiality, safety, and therapeutic care.

What It’s Like to Work Together

I’m someone who values connection, depth, and honesty.
I’m endlessly curious about why people feel the way they do, and how we can gently shift the patterns that keep us stuck.
I believe therapy is both a science and an art — and that real change happens when we feel truly understood.

Outside of sessions, you’ll probably find me with a coffee, walking by the water, or spending time with my little family.
